Email setup instructions for Outlook

Step 1:

Click the File tab at the top.

Then click Add Account

Step 2:

Check the radio button for “Manually configure server settings or additional server types”.

Click Next.

Step 3:

Check the radio button for “Internet E-mail”.

Click Next.

Step 4:

Enter the following information:

Your Name and Email Address

Account Type: IMAP
Incoming Mail Server:
Outgoing Mail Server:

Click More Settings.

Step 5:

Click the Outgoing Server tab.

Check the box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

Check the box Log on using and enter your email address in the username box along with your password.

Do not check Require Secure Password Authentication (SPA)

Step 6:

Click the Advanced tab.

Select SSL for the Incoming server.

Change the Outgoing Server (SMTP) port # to 587

Click OK.

Step 7:

Click Next.

If you see 2 green checks the account is set up properly.

Step 8:

Click Finish.

Your new account is now set up and ready to go.
